@SteveFaulkner @aardrian I worked in biodiversity informatics for many years and the distinction between <em> and <i> very easy to grok and very welcome. Scientific names are by convention nearly always represented in italics, but this rarely means emphasis. To me this distinction doesn’t feel like a failure at all. I wonder how other domains feel?
