I just published a project that has a special place in my heart.

Same landscape, never the same. My daily commute by bicycle documented using a phone camera between 2016-2017 in Cambridge, UK.

@silviamaggi I hope you had fun with this. You've gotten some absolutely stunning shots. Thanks for sharing this with everyone

@JonYoder Thank you for looking! I definitely had fun and still cherish the memories :)

@silviamaggi That's awesome. I look forward to taking a closer look when I have more time. Neat project!

(Also... I have a lifelong fondness for Cambridge, it was one of my favorite places during the two years that I lived in England. Haven't been there in quite a few years, though.)

@rattlesnakestu Thank you so much for your interest!

I understand the fascination with Cambridge, as my husband and I moved there from London after a visit during our honeymoon.

@silviamaggi Love this so much! It's a beautiful testament to time and nature. It reminds me of a project I did in art school where I stayed in one small park for 24 hours straight, midnight to midnight, photographing what I saw changing, as the light moved and the animals and trees shifted (it was mid-late autumn). To this day I still feel a special connection to that place, and in your piece I can feel your connection to your special place. :)

@Blort Thank you very much! I appreciate it.

Yours sounds like a very interesting and exciting project. The idea of taking pictures of the same place reminds a bit of Harvey Keitel's character in "Smoke".

You're right about the special connection to the place, I'm glad it shows :)
