What people don't realize is that a decentralized blockchain only make sense in the context of money / finance.
It's just odd to me when people keep saying web3 will take down facebook, how?
I did a deep dive into mastodon / Fediverse. The focus is on the servers being decentralized and running the same code across the network, allowing for an interoperable social expierence. However the data itself isn't immutable and is controlled by the server you trust when you signup. I don't think it's possible at least with web3 / blockchain tech to fix this issue and truly have a decentralized site, I mean you can create a .json file on IPFS, but who wants that.
INDIEWEB.SOCIAL is an instance focused on the #Openeb, #Indieweb, #Fediverse, #Mastodon #Selfsovereign #identity (#SSI), #Humanetech and #Calm technologies evolution.
